[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Hoofdstad van de zogenoemde regio, een van de mooiste steden van Griekenland. De oude stad met,\u00a0 zijn schilderachtige straatjes, zijn houten bebloemde balkons, zijn Turkse fonteinen en het Syntagma plein met zijn minaretten en de tafels op het voetpad, straalt de betovering uit van een\u00a0 ander tijdperk. Na voortdurende gevechten schijnt het geluk zich hier vastgezet te hebben.<\/p>\n

En de verbeelding wind zich op als U straks\u00a0 de 857 trappen omhoog klimt van de \u2018Venetiaanse vesterking Palamidi\u2019, die de stad domineert en ook als U terug naar beneden komt om die andere versterking \u2018 het Acronafplion\u2019 te bezoeken.Of de baai oversteken tot aan het versterkte eilandje \u2018Bourdzin\u2019. Op het Syntagma plein staat een indrukwekkend Venetiaans\u00a0 gebouw waar het Archeologisch museum\u00a0 in gevestigd is die voorwerpen uit verschillende tijdperken, alsook Frescos komende uit Mycene en Asini tentoonstelt.
