[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Het eerste klooster van Malevi werd gebouwd op een hoogte bij Malevou, nu Kanala genaamd, in de afgezonderde en ondoodringbare bossen van Malevou. In de kroniek (boek) van de monniken staat dat het eerste klooster is gesticht in 717 na C.\u00a0 maar dat een jaar later alle monniken stierven, de laatste monnik die zijn onvermijdelijk einde zag naderen liet een verborgen boodschap achter van wat er gebeurde. Vanaf dan besloten ander monniken het klooster \u201caan de kanalen\u201d te verlaten en bouwden een nieuw klooster op een lagere locatie. Op de Parnon berg,1937 mhoog. De oude ruines zijn gevonden in de nabijheid van een zeventigtal Christen kloosters. Meer dan veertig jaar heeft de oude Icoon van de Moeder Gods een sterke geur van Mirre verspreid die\u00a0 vele, vele wonderen deed in de wereld.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]
