[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Au plus sud de la p\u00e9ninsule Balkanique, relie\u00a0 a\u00a0 l`Attique par l`Isthme de Corinthe qui coupe le canal du m\u00eame nom, le PELOPONNESE constitue une p\u00e9ninsule montagneuse, connue sur le nom de Moree. Compartimente en bassins int\u00e9rieurs d`effondrement et en plaines littorales irrigu\u00e9es, le P\u00e9loponn\u00e8se est une terre d`\u00e9migration que fournie \u00e0 Ath\u00e8nes une bonne partie de ses fonctionnaires et de ses hommes politiques. A l`Est, les acropoles de Myc\u00e8nes et d`Argos dominent l`ARGOLIDE, plaine littorale f\u00e9conde. Au Nord, s`allonge entre la mer et la montagne formant barri\u00e8re, une bande fertile comprenantla Corinthieet l` ACHAIE. Le Sud se d\u00e9coupe en trois promontoires, dont le plus important prolonge le massif du Tayg\u00e8te: c`est le MAGNE, farouche r\u00e9gion calcaire habit\u00e9e par un peuple courageux. Les plaines alluviales de LACONI(SPARTE) et de MESSENIE (KALAMATA) dont les figues et olives sont r\u00e9put\u00e9es pour leur finesse. A l`INTERIEUR enfin, repose le grand et paisible bassin d`ARCADIE, au niveau assez \u00e9lev\u00e9 (600 a800 md`alt.) dont le centre est TRIPOLI. La diversit\u00e9 et la beaut\u00e9 des\u00a0 paysages du P\u00e9loponn\u00e8se (les montagnes, les plaines, le littoral maritime\u2026) son importance historique, ces nombreux sites c\u00e9l\u00e8bres antiques, et\u00a0 sa population accueillante et chaleureuse, fait de lui un des lieux les plus visit\u00e9s en Gr\u00e8ce.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]
