[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Das schon in byzantinischer Zeit gegr\u00fcndete Frauenkloster auf950 mH\u00f6he ist ein gutes Beispiel daf\u00fcr, wie g\u00f6ttliche Wunder den Wohlstand eines Konvents mehren k\u00f6nnen: Als die Nonnen das Kloster 1949 wieder belebten, lag es in Ruinen, heute hingegen gleicht es einem unterbev\u00f6lkerten Palast. In dem riesigen zweigeschossigen Baukomplex leben nur 14 Schwestern, der \u00fcberwiegende Teil der R\u00e4umlichkeiten sind Pilgerunterk\u00fcnfte. Gl\u00e4ubige kommen und bleiben eine Nacht, erbitten bei Problemen Beistand von der Gottesmutter, die in der Klosterkirche pr\u00e4sent ist in Gestalt eine Ikone, die angeblich vom Evangelisten Lukas gemalt wurde. Seit April 1064 sondert die Ikone eine harzartige, ungemein wohlduftende Substanz ab, die einer Vision der Nonnen zufolge direkt aus dem Paradies stammt.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]
